Terms of use

1. Who provides Sam

Sam (Sort All Money) is developed by Sam Brady, trading as Sam8. Contact hello@sam8.co.uk. The canonical website is sortallmoney.com.

2. A planning tool, not a bank

Sam organises financial information. It does not hold deposits, move money, make payments or provide regulated financial advice. Available to Spend and forecasts are estimates based on the data in your plan, not a guarantee that a purchase is affordable.

Review your bills, expected income, transactions and account information before making a decision. A missing commitment, changed amount or outdated balance can affect a calculation. Sam does not promise to prevent overdrafts, fees or losses.

3. Early access

Joining the waiting list is free and records your interest in beta invitations and launch updates. It is not a purchase, subscription, guaranteed place or promise of a release date. You can leave the list at any time.

Beta software may change and may contain errors. Keep your own records and check important figures against your account. An invitation may have additional TestFlight conditions supplied by Apple. We will explain any material conditions when inviting you.

4. Wallet access and third-party services

Apple Wallet pairing requires compatible accounts, devices, regions and your permission. Availability and the data provided depend on Apple and the account provider. Sam is independently developed and is not endorsed by Apple.

Apple’s services, including TestFlight, iCloud and App Store purchases, have their own terms. Nothing here grants Sam access to your bank login or authority to transfer money.

5. Sam Plus and purchases

The website does not take payment. If you purchase Sam Plus through the App Store, the features, price, billing period, renewal conditions and any trial offer will be displayed before you agree. Beta access does not itself create a paid subscription.

Manage or cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple Account settings. Apple’s purchase and refund processes apply alongside any rights you have under consumer law. The app licence supplied through the App Store also applies.

6. Your data and use of the service

Only share account information you are entitled to use. Do not misuse the website, submit another person’s email without permission, attempt unauthorised access or disrupt the service.

You remain in control of your financial records. Keep any backups you need. Exported CSV files are unencrypted; encrypted Sam backup files require their password. See the Privacy Policy for storage, deletion and your data rights.

7. Responsibility and your rights

We aim to provide Sam with reasonable care and skill. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that all third-party information will be complete or current. If something goes wrong, contact us so we can investigate.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes and complaints

Features may evolve during beta testing. We will explain material changes to these terms or a paid service before they take effect where required, rather than silently applying changes to an existing purchase.

These terms use the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove mandatory protections or access to courts available to you where you live. For concerns, contact hello@sam8.co.uk.
